‘Money Heist’ Season 5: What We Know So Far
The fifth season of the popular TV show “Money Heist,” which is available on Netflix, is currently airing on Channel 4. The show follows a group of thieves who steal €1 million from a bank vault, and this season they are planning to steal €350 million. But what we know so far about the new season in the UK?
A brief history of ‘Money Heist’
‘Money Heist’ is a Belgian crime series that has been airing on TV channel AVRO since 2016. The show is based on the Spanish original ‘El heisto de Trescientos Millones’, which was also created by Fernando Blanco and José Luis Villar.
So far, the first season of ‘Money Heist’ has aired and it has been a huge hit with viewers such as Moana 2. In this season, the team of bank robbers tries to rob three Belgian banks in one day. Although they are successful in robbing the first bank, they are unsuccessful in robbing the second and third banks.
The main characters in ‘Money Heist’ are Antoine Berko (played by Benoit Magimel), Jerome Fournier (played by Romain Duris) and Michel Desjoyeaux (played by Franck Khalfoun). Each of these characters has their own unique backstory and motivations for becoming a bank robber. Antoine Berko is a former soldier who is now out of prison and looking for new opportunities. Jerome Fournier is a career criminal who is trying to make something of himself after years of crime. Michel Desjoyeaux is an ex-con who is trying to re-start his life by starting a new bank heist crew while developing a relationship with Jerome.
While each of these characters has their unique motivations, we can all agree that the three main characters work well together and really bring out the best in each other. They are childhood friends who have been brought together again by circumstance. The chemistry between Magimel and Duris is outstanding, and it is easy to see why they would want to be reunited as long as they were doing so without all of their old pasts catching up with them again.
The storyline itself is pretty straightforward as well. These guys aren’t exactly world-class thieves, so their plans start off pretty simple at first but soon get more complicated as time goes on. They are able to complete the jobs that they start, but the question is whether or not these little scams will be enough to make a difference in their lives. We learn a little more about each of them and why they are seeking redemption after their pasts caught up with them again; it creates some interesting dynamics between the characters as well. The small hints at the bigger story really help to keep things going, too. It isn’t until later on that we learn the full extent of what Magimel has been through, so until then there are plenty of questions with no easy answers.

The season will also focus on the team’s attempt to find out who leaked the information about the heist, which will lead to some intense scenes such as Kengan ashura season 3.
We can’t wait to see what happens next and how the rest of the team solves the mystery.
With just a few episodes left in the season, it’s time to take a look at what we know so far about ‘Money Heist’. The season finale is scheduled for June 18th and promises to be an exciting episode. As always, there are spoilers ahead so if you haven’t watched the show yet I advise against reading any further.
So far, this season has seen the team attempt to rob two different banks within 48 hours of each other. They’ve also had to deal with some new members joining their team, including a hacker and a sniper. As usual, things didn’t go as planned and they ended up having to make a run for it with millions of dollars worth of stolen money. It looks like the final showdown is almost here in Black clover season 2!
